On day 2 we spent time enjoying the beautiful fall colors.
Two weeks ago the leaves were green. Now was the perfect time to see the trees looking as though they where on fire were the sun lit the leaves.
We stopped at Apple Hill on our way back down the mountain to check out the apples and craft vendors at a few of the farms.
It was a weekday but still their were huge crowds.
Loved the large metal sculptures at this farm.
A few light clouds made an appearance but the temperatures stayed in the mid 70's.
At High Hill Ranch we parked amid the super tall pines.
I decided to take a couple of pictures looking those tall trees.
And I always stop at my friends booth, Tahoe Fire, to see what Molly and her husband have created for the new season.
I bought this beautiful green set. Isn't this a yummy green color? They always have the most beautiful glass and wire wrapped pieces. I love the way she makes her glass elements.
